INTERNET MATTERS.ORG Campaign to combat online Piracy
As the use of online pirated content grew in the UK, Germany and Italy during lockdowns, so Internet Matters and their digital agency T19 needed a pan-European digital and social media campaign to warn families about the risks. We partnered with LEAP, a London based agency, to produce videos for three creative concepts, each with three language variations, and all needed to be completed within a tight turnaround time. The objective would be to maximize audience appeal through the creation of relatable characters, an informative yet friendly animation style and localized audio. We made versions for phones, TV and streaming. The campaign was a great success – achieving more than 22 million impressions and a total reach of nearly eight million families in the UK, Germany and Italy. Campaign viewers reacted well with a 39% increase in legal streaming searches and a 44% reduction in searches for illegal streams. |

STRANGER DANGER PSA 2010
The UK Government needed a video to warn children about the dangers of meeting strangers when playing games online. Together with our partners at LEAP and Zinc Communicate. The script needed to clearly and simply explain that people online are not always who they say they are. The video was shown in every school in the UK in 2010 - to over 10 million students. |
